This is a special shoot for us. These are no ordinary people. Jordan and Yvonne were always great friends with our good friend and fellow photographer Chris Smith. We’d all get together for a birthday or holiday party and we’d always chat as a group but never got a chance to spend time with them solo. Then Chris left the country for an epic trip around asia … and you know how sometimes the mutual friend will move away and the group of friends can kinda dissolve. Thankfully not the case with these two. Jordan and Yvonne kept close with us and honored us with the duty to document their wedding next September.
We had a pretty ambitious list of favorite places of theirs to shoot, and actually hit quite a few in one afternoon. Golden Road brewery (get the Wolf Among Weeds IPA), Hollywood, and the Blue Palms Brewery to name a few.
Jordan and Yvonne have personality for days so there is no way we can capture them in just a few hours, just a few outfits, or just a few beers. But I hope we scratched at that surface with these.
