So we’ve never photographed anyone outside of the normal terra firma locations that we’re used to. Enter Misty and Tim. They are both athletic and energetic and have traveled the world together… so we knew they’d want photos of themselves in an ‘unconventional’ setting. We quickly discovered at our meeting that they are avid swimmers and divers and they took a trip to thailand together last year, where, Tim not only realized his first dive with Misty, but he also capitalized on the opportunity and proposed to her while exploring the underwater paradise of Ko Tao. Enter the Pool. We agreed it was a great idea and indicative of their time spent together thus far … I just needed to acquire / learn how to use an under water camera pronto.
The first series of images were near their house in Huntington beach … back up incase I got the bends or something and none of the pool shots came out. Though I’d say we did okay on our first try.

since 7th grade, misty has always been the most amazing, lovable, sweet, and adventurous person…i love that that side of her and tim has been captured so perfectly. amazing pictures! amazing!
