It can be kinda tough when a friend asks us to photograph their wedding. At first we feel like ‘aw but how do we party and celebrate with you’ … but that quickly turns into ‘we are honored and know you well enough to make photos that will represent you both faithfully.’ We were struck with that predicament earlier this year when Nick and Katie asked us to document their destination wedding in Paso Robles. Both friends of ours and fans of a good pint of craft beer, Nick and Katie steered away from nuptials forged in the firestone parking lot for a much more scenic, natural setting at the Lago Giuseppe winery. It was an amazing place, full of hundred year old spanish moss covered oaks. Nick is also an avid home brewer, so in addition to great paso wines, there were a number of kegs of fantastic home brewed beer.
